Servoo valve

Sale of servo valve

A set of hydraulic control systems that are closed circuit is called servo valve. Specifically, a servo valve means a fluid control valve. This is done by the spool used in the valve. In the rest of this article, we are going to examine Servo Valve in a specialized way. Stay with us in the rest of the article.

What is a servo valve?

The electrohydraulic servo valve is an electric valve and controls the way hydraulic fluid is sent to the actuator. Servo valve is mostly used for powerful hydraulic cylinders with very low electrical signal. In addition, servo valves are used to accurately control position, pressure, force and speed with high precision.

The history of using Servo Velo goes back to World War II, and it was the first time that Servo Velo was used in World War II. The servo used in 1940 was not well received because it lacked the ability to quickly convert electrical signals into hydraulic currents. The first servo valve in 1940 had two stages equipped with a solenoid to actuate the spool and main part of the valve.

The movement of the spool and valve mechanism is completely dependent on the signal applied to the valve and the operation of the valve. Accordingly, it has different types of coils or motor torque. The feedback sensor or positioner, which is connected to the spool, compares the reciprocating movement with the applied signal, and if an error occurs, it takes action to correct the error in a direct or reverse direction according to the amount and direction of the error.

In simple words, the servo valve operation algorithm is as follows:

Sending relevant electrical signals to the servo and valve
Movement and displacement of the spool according to the direction and amount of the applied signal
Comparison of applied signal with spool displacement
Matching the coordinates received from the spool with the signal to check for possible errors
The process ends until the next signal is received
